The spirit of collaboration and shared purpose was powerfully demonstrated through the Innovation Wall Signing, a symbolic yet meaningful activity that invited all stakeholders to publicly affirm their commitment to advancing innovation across the Cagayan Valley region.
Representatives from a wide range of institutions—regional government and private agencies, higher education institutions and state universities and colleges (SUCs), Technology Business Incubators (TBIs), Local Government Units (LGUs), and members of the investment sector—took part in the ceremonial signing. Each signature represented a tangible pledge to foster creativity, entrepreneurship, and technology-driven growth within their respective communities.
This collective act of commitment underscored the strength of the region’s pentahelix model of innovation, where government, academia, industry, civil society, and the investment community work hand in hand to build a thriving startup ecosystem.
Following the signing, the morning session culminated in a showcase of real-world innovation impact through a dedicated segment on Success Stories from Incubatees under various TBIs across the region. Participants were inspired by the journeys of these startups as they shared their experiences—highlighting not only their achievements and growth milestones but also the challenges they overcame in their entrepreneurial pursuit.
The session served as a testament to the resilience, creativity, and determination of local innovators, affirming that the seeds of innovation sown in Cagayan Valley are already bearing fruit through tangible success stories that inspire others to take part in the region’s growing innovation movement.
